On September 20-23 Glass in the Mountains will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the studio glass movement throughout the Toe River Valley in North Carolina. The VIP Weekend will include a tour of Harvey Littleton’s studio and other well known glass artists, glass demonstrations, lecture “A Life in Glass” and eight gallery exhibitions in the Penland, North Carolina area.

The Maurine Littleton Gallery will be an exhibitor at GlassWeekend ’11 in Millville, NJ (10-12 June 2011). Michael Janis will be featured as one of the WheatonArts/AACG "Maurine Littleton Gallery Rising Star" artists for 2011.
